At the age of 52, after retiring from the marines, Steve Wild decide to undertake the enormous task of building his very own Hulkbuster armour.
It stands at a massive 8ft tall, and is the perfect recreation of the Kev Hopegood design, which recently enjoyed a lot of well deserved screentime during Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Incidentally, Steve doesn't wear the suit himself, as a close friend pilots the big fella when in action. However, he did undertake the entire build himself, from the initial 3D design through to manufacturing it with his own 2 hands.
It may not benefit from being linked to J.A.R.V.I.S or F.R.I.D.A.Y, but it does feature an integral camera as part of the pilot's guidance system, who themselves are strapped into the suits internal support mechanism.
Other projects undertaken by Steve in the past include, but are not limited to, a Dark Angels Space Marine, a metre tall Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony and a faithfull recreation of the USS Sulaco from the Aliens movies.
ECC are delighted to have Steve join us, who will be present all weekend should you have any queries regarding his builds.
