Gordon Rennie is an incredibly versatile writer with an imagination that apparently knows no bounds. He is an award-winning writer with an impressive background in comicbooks, graphic novels, novels and video games.
For more than twenty years, Gordon has been one of the most prominent writers for 2000AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine.
On Dredd alone he has collaborated with legendary artists like Dredd co-creator Carlos Ezquerra, Ian Gibson, Cam Kennedy and The Walking Dead’s Charlie Adlard.
Other strips for 2000AD include Missionary Man, Witch World, Rain Dogs, Mean Machine, Rogue Trooper and Caballistics, Inc.
Gordon has also written graphic novels for the Kal Jerico and Bloodquest series, and in 2004 he won the Diamond Comics Awards’ Graphic Novel of the Year for Necronauts.
Gordon won a BAFTA nomination for Best Screenplay for the Rogue Trooper game in 2006 and since 2008 has devoted much of his time to video games, but fortunately never left the world of comics.
ECC is lucky to have him as a guest, and look forward to hearing more about his recent work on Dishonoured and Doctor Who for Titan Comics, as well as the sequel to Robbie Burns: Witch Hunter.
