Garry Brown is a Scottish born comic artist, who is currently living in LA with his wife and their 4 cats.
2010 he graduated from the The Joe Kubert School of Cartooning and Art, alongside fellow ECC guest Chris Mooneyham.
Garry's first professional work was as a cover artist, which he continues alongside his interior work to this day. Titles he has produced covers for include, but are not limited to, Secret Six, DC Comics Bombshells, Avengers Arena and Sons of Anarchy.
His confident style and supreme work ethic landed him the art duties for series such as The Massive (Dark Horse), Iron Patriot (Marvel), and Catwoman (DC).
Fans of the SyFy show Dark Matter, which was based on the comic that was originally meant to be a TV show, will recognise his work from its pages. Personally, we'd like to think that Garry's visualisations heavily influenced Syfy giving it the green light.
At the moment, Garry is working on his creator-owned epic Black Road, with reknown writer Brian Wood. Like many great creator owned books, this is being put out by Image.
We are hooured to have Garry as a guest, and are looking forward to finding out what it's like to have as many publishers hungry to publish his work.
