1.30pm COMIC CREATORS ANONYMOUS John McShane chats to professional comic creators, discussing their current projects and how the broke into the industry.
3.00pm HERO TALK IN CONVERSATION... The HERO TALK boys chat to Ian Beattie about everything from his time on Game of Thrones, to travelling in the circus when he was a child.
4.30pm YANCY ST AWARDS Join us for our first ever Yancy St Awards ceremony.

10.30am SEARCH & DESTROY: A STRONTIUM DOG FAN FILM Join Nick and Craig, as they return to ECC with their fan film panel, which features the Scottish Premiere screening of Search & Destroy: A Strontium Dog Fan Film.
11.30am HERO TALK: IN CONVERSATION... The boys are joined by Andrew Lee, and discuss his time on not only Primevil, but also other shows such as Stan Lee's Lucky Man, Alice and Band of Brothers.
12.30pm COMIC BOOK MEN Join the stars of Comic Book Men for a Q&A session.
1.30pm SHOOTING CLERKS PREVIEW SCREENING Join us at Edinburgh Comic Con, as we host the first UK showing of the award winning Kevin Smith biopic, Shooting Clerks. This will be followed by a short Q&A session.
3.30pm COSPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP Who will be crowned our overall 2017 Champion?

No doubt many of you will have some questions to ask our guests, so rest assured that you will get the opportunity.

Best part of it, all our panel/Q&A sessions are 100% FREE, and you'll never quite know what they'll let slip...

PROP/MODEL DISPLAYS:

Throughout the venue, we will have numerous props on display for you to view, including various replica items from your favourite genre productions.

There will also be a number of model builders in attendance who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

SMALL PRESS/INDIE PUBLISHERS:

Located within our Artist Alley area, you will find some of the finest small press titles, alongside some of the top indie publishers from Scotland and further afield.

Now matter if your tastes are superhero, comedy, abstract or horror, you will be sure to find something here.

VEHICLES AND LARGE PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES:

There will be a number of larger items and vehicles on display over the weekend.

Please feel free to take a photograph with them, and share with all your friends and family on your social media.

FREE TO PLAY ARCADE:

Our arcade area will have a number of FREE TO PLAY machines, where you will be able to enjoy all the retro video games that your can remember from your childhood, or have the joy of discovering from the first time.

SCOTTISH LEGO EXHIBITION:

In 2016, we had a number of Scottish LEGO builders put on a rather impressive display. Going forward, we plan to build on this, while bringing you something a little different in 2017.

ECC MARKETPLACE:

Here you'll find an extensive range of dealers specialising in comic books, action figures, clothing, geeky jewellery, imported candy, artwork and memorabilia.

No matter how you get your geek on, there really will be something for everyone in our market place.

SCREENINGS:

In 2014 we brought you the UK premier of Metal Hurlant Chronicles before it was broadcast by the Sci-Fi Channel. Then in 2015 we followed up by showing Star Trek Prelude to Axanar, before CBS/Paramount took as much interest. 2016 saw us bring you a double whammy, with our fan film panel and an anniversary showing of Electric Man with FREE DVD for attendees.

In 2017, not only do we bring you the UK's first preview screening of Shooting Clerks, but also the Scottish Premiere of Search & Destroy: A Strontium Dog Fan Film.

GAMING AREA:

Growing on this popular attraction from 2016, this year will see a more diverse selection of interactive gaming demonstrations.

There will also be numerous experts and game designers on hand throughout the weekend, who you can chat to, and hopefully pick up a few tips from.

YANCY ST AWARDS 2017:

Coming to Edinburgh Comic Con 2017, will be our first ever Yancy St Awards, where we'll recognise and celebrate the year's best offerings in all things comic related. Fans of the Fantastic Four will be familiar with the Yancy St Gang, and will no doubt appreciate the accolade that comes with passing the initiation.

COSPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP 2017:

Our Cosplay championship will return for it's fourth year running, and we encourage to either get involved by entering or simply coming along to cheer everyone on.

PLEASE NOTE: Spaces will be limited, and you will need to complete an entry form. Our rules and regulations are posted over on our COSPLAY page, and it is your duty to make yourself fully aware of them before entering.

THE 'OFFICIAL' UNOFFICIAL AFTER PARTY:

The 2017 after party will be hosted by Harry's Bar, a social enterprise pub, who put their profits back into good causes, while employing and training young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
